Lydia Menendez is President of CUBATEC, where she focuses on fostering and maintaining strategic relationships while creating and managing execution plans that support the organization’s goals and long-term growth. In her role, Ms. Menendez brings a disciplined, execution-oriented approach to leadership, ensuring that strategy is translated into actionable outcomes across teams and initiatives.

 

Prior to joining CUBATEC, Ms. Menendez, a graduate of Babson College, built a strong foundation in project management and brand operations across the consumer goods and spirits industries. She previously served as a Project Manager at American Foods International, an export distribution company, where she managed cross-functional initiatives and complex operational timelines. Earlier in her career, she was a member of the Brand Activation team at Bacardi, contributing to brand strategy, market engagement, and experiential initiatives.

 

Active in leadership and service, Ms. Menendez currently serves on the board of the Coral Gables War Memorial Youth Center Association and is a leadership board member of the Backgammon Social Club, which hosts events across the United States and Europe. She previously served as Chief Marketing Officer of the Babson Operations Association, reflecting her continued commitment to organizational leadership and community engagement.

 

Ms. Menendez is a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Academy and earned her undergraduate degree from Babson College.
